Product Description
Whether you're topping off your coolant after replacing an expansion tank, doing a flush as part of preventative maintenance, or adding coolant to keep a leak at bay, it's vital that OE compatible coolant be used in your Volkswagen.
Pentosin is a quality aftermarket supplier of fluids for many European manufacturers, including Volkswagen. This 1.5 liter bottle of concentrate meets the latest G13 specification, and is backwards compatible with previous coolant specs like G12, G12+, and G12++. It's a bright violet color, and must be diluted to a 50/50 concentration with distilled water before use.
We strongly recommend a full coolant flush if you're uncertain which coolant you have in your system, or if your coolant is more than a couple years old; while compatible with previous specs of VW coolant, the corrosion inhibitors and stabilizers in fresh G13 will work best if not mixed with other coolant.
